Beatriz Ferrer-Salat (11 March 1966) lives in Gualba, Spain, with her partner Rafael Fontana. She had her first ‘real’ riding ‘lesson’ when she was 15 years old at the Real Barcelona Polo Club. After a year her father saw that she was serious and bought me my first horse. Her father Carlos Ferrer was Spanish tennis champion in 1953. In 1986 when Barcelona was selected as host city for the 1992 Olympic Games, he was president of the Spanish Olympic Committee. Beatriz made her international debut in 1994. In the 90s she trained in Germany with the Theodorescu family and Herbert Rehbein. She represented Spain at four Olympic Games: 1996 Atlanta, 2000 Sydney, 2004 Athens (team silver and individual bronze) and 2016 Rio de Janeiro. She won individual silver at the 2002 World Equestrian Games nin Jerez de la Frontera. She also won individual bronze at the European Championships in Hickstead (2003) and Aachen (2015).

Her horse Sir Radjah (2005) is a Westphalian gelding by Sir Donnerhall x Radjah Z.
