Tina Konyot was born with genes rare in the world of dressage; a family of world renowned circus trainers and performers–her mother was a high wire performer–and developing dressage in the United States.

Tina spent five years training in Europe with some of the best. On her return home she was short listed for the Sydney 2000 Olympic team then again in in 2004 for the Athens Games on different horses. Calecto V is a 12-year-old Danish stallion by Comeback II. In 2009, the pair won the Grand Prix Freestyle CDI-W at Dressage at Devon. Tina, 48, lives near the old Connecticut whaling town of Mystic.

Konyot, who competed at the 2012 Olympics, was the second highest placed American team member at the 2010 World Equestrian Games. At WDM Palm Beach in 2011, she and Calecto V finished second to Steffen Peters in the Grand Prix and third in the GP Freestyle.
